Rocco Clauss earned his bachelor of science in finance from the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business in May of 2013. While pursuing his studies, he gained practical experience in the New York City financial industry in a number of roles, including as a trading desk intern with Chardan Capital Markets’ Institutional Equity Trading Desk. There, Rocco Clauss learned block trading skills and closely examined market developments for the benefit of clients.
Since completing his education, Rocco Clauss has honed his entrepreneurial skills as part owner of J&R’s Organic Beef Distributing Company in Plattsburgh, New York. In his leadership role, he guides the company toward growth by helping it engage with the statewide marketplace. Further, he oversees the full supply chain, from feeding and slaughtering to marketing and distribution.
Beyond his accomplishments in business, Mr. Clauss has an extensive history with alpine ski racing. Along with placing in the top 25 at the 2009 Junior Olympics Championships, he was chosen for the Eastern Championships for five consecutive years. Also an accomplished boxer, he ranked third in the 2009 New York State Golden Gloves rankings.
